“Mat Zo” To Be Featured On BBC Radio 1′s Essential Mix [News]

If there was ever a mix to be excited about, this would absolutely be the one. 22 year old “Matan Zohar” AKA “Mat Zo” is probably one of the most talented and promising producer/DJ’s in the world. Producing for  the legendary “Anjuna Beats” record label, Mat Zo was born in the UK and produces quite an interesting variety of music. He produces Trance, Progressive House, and he also produces Drum & Bass under his other alias “MRSA“. Mat Zo blew away the world when he dropped the trance track “The Sky” featuring the lovely “Linnea Schossow”. The track was an absolute euphoric masterpiece. And the “Club Mix” of the song was even better, and was even featured on the eighth episode of “Above & Beyond’s” ”Group Therapy” radio show! Take a Listen!

Mat Zo truly does it like no other producer in the EDM world, and he isn’t one to let only one genre describe his music. Mat Zo has gained support from artists such as “Afrojack“, “A-trak“, “Roger Sanchez“, and “Steve Aoki“. He even gained support from “Axwell“, who said Mat Zo’s Track “Superman” was one of his personal favorites.  And I’m sure all of you have heard his beautiful collaboration with “Porter Robinson” called “Easy“, which was a flawless track to say the least. 

Well it’s official Mat Zo has been chosen to be the featured musician for BBC Radio 1′s “Essential Mix”. Which is a huge honor for any producer, and always promises great tracks and plenty of unreleased ones! “Eric Prydz” dropped 12 unreleased tracks in his essential mix last week! So you definitely don’t want to sleep on Mat Zo’s Essential Mix! I am curious as to what genre Mat Zo is going to lean more towards in the essential mix. But who knows, he might keep that variety we all know he brings out! Mat Zo’s Essential Mix gets broadcasted on Saturday, February 9th and will be available to listen for days after!
