It’s no secret that “Trap Music” is starting to become a huge part of the electronic dance music scene. And when you think of upcoming trap artists, “Mayhem” (from San Francisco) and “Antiserum“(from Atlanta) are probably two artists that first come to mind. These two producers collaborated and successfully ran the trap back in August with their first ever trap hit “Brick Squad Anthem“, which was a very popular trap hit and in my opinion, is one of the songs that set the bar for trap music as a genre. Monday night, “Mayhem x Antiserum” released “Let’s Go” as a free download. Which is definitely worth a listen.
In my opinion, this is definitely “Mayhem x Antiserum’s” best work yet, and I think it is one of the best trap songs out today. The song starts slow with a steady buildup of synths, and a typical trap beat but then quickly gets exciting with a DEEP baseline and a little mix of electro-esque sounds that’ll be sure to give you goosebumps. The energy in this track is incredible. My recommendation would be to crank the volume up for this one. Because “Mayhem x Antiserum” have definitely made a trap masterpiece!
These two fellows are definitely not newcomers to the producing world. Mayhem has been producing “Dubstep” and “DnB” for years and has collaborated with countless artists including the legendary rap star “KRS-1“. Antiserum has also been producing “Dubstep” for years and has gained support from plenty of artists including “Skrillex” himself. These two are a dream collaboration and they seem fond of making tracks together. I look forward to hearing more from these two very talented producers. So definitely download the track and support these two. It’s free! So turn up and get to TWERKIN. :]
