The remix was alright in my opinion, it sounded like standard progressive house track done by Tiësto, almost Avicii-like in a certain fashion. Only really on the “drops” did it sound like a dance track (otherwise it sounded kind of synth-pop), and it was a fairly repetitive one at that. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it. It’s just probably something I wouldn’t listen to that often, it didn’t really blow my mind or anything. I feel Tiesto’s done better work, and could’ve done better on this. I did however like the way the vocals were mixed in from the original track, some remixes fail at that.
Honestly I felt the most intriguing part of the whole thing was the actual music video itself. As a video production hobbyist, I appreciated the very cool special effects they used. The characters seem to be taking some kind of blue powdered substance (which some speculate to be colored cocaine) and occasionally eating matches, this then causes them to explode into multiple versions of themselves and run around doing random things.
